Dr Caroline Rohling


Dr Caroline Rohling primarily advises and represents banks on issues relating to banking and capital markets law. A focus of the advisory work of Dr. Rohling is particularly concerned with credit agreement law. In addition to knowledge of banking and capital market law, Dr. Rohling has in-depth practical and scientific knowledge of cartel damages law. Miss Dr. Rohling represents the interests of her clients both in and out of court.

2017 to 2019: Doctoral work at commercial law firms, initially for nine months as a research assistant (assessor iur.) and then as a lawyer

2017 to 2022: PhD with Prof. Dr. Rupprecht Podszun at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Chair of Civil Law, German and European Competition Law; Dissertation in antitrust law on an antitrust compensation law topic; Award of the title Dr. iur. in August 2022

2013 to 2015: Legal clerkship at the District Court of Düsseldorf with stations at an international law firm and at the Chamber of Commerce Abroad (AHK) in Bratislava, 2nd state law examination in 2015

2007 to 2013: Law studies at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, 1st state examination in law in 2013
