Dr Philip Seel works as a lawyer and public accountant in our firm. As a partner, he is responsible for advising, representing and defending clients in the law governing white collar crime and tax offences. He also supports companies in the introduction and design of compliance management systems and participates in internal company investigations. His clients include banks, insurance companies and commercial enterprises, their management and shareholders. He advises on tax design and structural considerations, represents clients in disputes with the revenue authorities and before tax courts and defends accused persons who are subject to charges relating to tax and financial crimes. Dr Seel is also the external compliance officer of a listed stock corporation.
