Walter Maaß was the first employee of Dr Streitbörger when we formed our "nucleus" in Bielefeld in December 1970. He first worked as a court assessor/judge at the District Court of Bielefeld and then in the legal department at the headquarters of Dr Oetker. His expertise extends beyond intellectual property and corporate law to inheritance law, i.e. the structuring of corporate succession in family-owned companies. Walter Maaß has also severed many times as executor of family businesses. He is chairman of a family-related foundation and chairman of the supervisory board of an international group of companies.
